Solar indirect water heaters

Carlson Mechanical also offers Squire stainless steel solar indirect water heaters.

These come with a dual coil design so there's a coil in the lower portion of the tank to transfer heat from the solar array to the water that is stored in the tank.

An additional coil in the upper portion of the tank will transfer heat from a boiler into the potable water to ensure that the tank has ample stored water volume of a usable temperature for times when the solar radiation level cannot generate enough heat to suitably heat the tank.
